Best Practice or Lean Manufacturing was introduced into the company in 2002 to support our company policies on improvement. Best Practice in Rhys Engineering provides a structured approach to improvement, and consists of several tools and techniques including the 5S’s, Visual Management, Kaizen meetings and Value Stream Analysis. Through this we will support our customers for QCD improvements. Support from the Centre of Engineering Excellence, Tranzform, Innovation-Direct, Manufacturing Advisory Service and Industry Forum have all aided in training and implementation of Best Practice. |
